BüllsPort offers an intimate experience, ensuring a personal connection to nature. Every step supports conservation, as BüllsPort funds and maintains the Naukluft Private Nature Reserve’s hiking and riding trails. Guests can also contribute through the “My Quiver Tree” initiative, sponsoring a tree to protect the ecosystem.

Beyond adventure, BüllsPort supports the local community through the Naukluft Foundation, aiding ǂNabasib Primary School with education and self-help initiatives.

BüllsPort offers the perfect accommodation in the hiking paradise of the Naukluft Mountains, whether you prefer the comfort of a lodge or the closeness of nature at the campsites, just 3 km away in the mountain wilderness.

BüllsPort Lodge offers a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere with modern amenities, including good Wi-Fi, hearty farm cuisine, and spacious rooms. The lodge features 12 well-appointed rooms, including two triple and two family rooms, with an average room size of 45 m². The rooms, featuring separate bathrooms and toilets, are simply and attractively designed, offering plenty of space, a seating area, and a private veranda for relaxation.

Hiking in the Naukluft

From a walk along the dry river to a day hike in the mountains, you can choose from 14 trails. With clear trail markings and maps, you can explore the nature of the Naukluft at your own pace.

Whether you’re looking for riding lessons, a short ride for beginners, a relaxed sundowner ride, or a challenging day ride for advanced riders, BüllsPort offers something for every horse lover. The horses are well-trained, sure-footed, and a pleasure to ride.

Explore the farm’s horse husbandry and game management in a region with limited rainfall. Discover the 43 km² private nature reserve in the Naukluft Mountains, featuring fascinating geology, perennial springs and creeks. The reserve is home to diverse wildlife, including the mountain zebra, over 200 bird species, and unique plants like resurrection bush, Bushman’s candle, quiver tree, and sycamore. Conquer the 100 km² on a 4×4 adventure, navigating steep paths and riverbeds.

The school is about 15 km from BüllsPort located on the C14. On your arrival, a teacher will greet you and give you a tour, explaining the daily routine. In the classrooms, you’ll get a good sense of the lessons and teaching materials. At the end of your visit, you’ll enjoy a cultural performance, with students presenting traditional songs and dances, promoting cultural exchange and unity.

Take a day trip with your own vehicle to Sossusvlei to explore towering red dunes, the surreal Deadvlei with its ancient trees, and Sesriem Canyon.

BüllsPort Lodge & Farm is located in the Naukluft Mountains, in the south-central part of Namibia, at the T-junction of C14 and D1206. It is accessible with a sedan, but SUVs and 4x4s are more comfortable and advantageous in Namibia.

From Windhoek via B1 and C24/M47

Take the B1 towards Rehoboth and turn off at C24/M47 towards Klein Aub and Rietoog. Continue on the M47 and turn right onto the D1206. Turn left onto C14. The Lodge will be on your left (90 km paved road, 145 km gravel road).

Take the C26 towards the Khomas Highlands and turn left onto D1265. Continue onto D1261. Turn Right onto D1275 towards the Spreetshoogte Pass. Turn Left onto C14, passing Solitaire. The Lodge will be on your left (285 km gravel road).
