The lodge boasts seven stylish chalets overlooking the lush green carpeted garden; the property also boasts two family units, with roll out beds, ideal for families travelling with younger children.


Each chalet is designed to accommodate up to two adults with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, as well as built-in cupboards to lock away valuables.


A mere 250 meters, is the campsite which offers electricity, ablution facilities for both gents and ladies, (hot) shower/WC, barbecue (no grid provided) facilities and wash basin.


Glamping is also an option for those who don’t have their own camping equipment.

Start your day the Fiume way – meeting before 07:00 for a freshly brewed coffee before setting off on an exhilarating morning drive. Explore a different route than our sundowner safari, making your way to the waterhole as the bus awakens, and enjoy a scenic return journey back to the lodge.

From Windhoek

Head north out of Windhoek on the A1/B1 highway. Stay on the B1 northbound and pass Okahandja, then Otjiwarongo. Stay on this road towards Otavi, and then turn right onto the B8 east/northeast towards Grootfontein

Look for the lodge sign on the left side of the road, turn onto the gravel farm road where you continue for another 3 km, passed two manual gates and you have reached FIUME LODGE.

Travel along the C38 to the junction with the B1. Head in a southerly direction via Tsumeb, where you take the C42 and on to Grootfontein. At the junction with the B8 turn left and go through Grootfontein. From Grootfontein, travel on for another 35kms on the B8. Look for the lodge sign on the left side of the road, turn onto the gravel farm road where you continue for another 3 km, passed two manual gates and you have reached FIUME LODGE.
